In addition, the lamps can vary the amount of light and light colour in real time, ranging from a cold-white ambience required in the morning to the calm-warm environment in the evening, resembling the course of the sun.

The shape of Carus LED retrofit lamps corresponds to that of a conventional light bulb and are therefore suitable for use in most luminaires already present. The colour rendering value (short CRI) is important for healthy light. A value of 100 means that the light source perfectly reproduces natural white. While many products available on the market only have values of around 80, Carus LED lamps achieve >95 and have a service life of 25 years.
